Privacy Policy

The short version: nothing you type leaves your iPhone. The keyboard never connects to the internet. The Duoboard app connects only to handle Duoboard Pro purchases, through RevenueCat, using an anonymous ID that isn’t tied to who you are.

What you type

Duoboard is a keyboard, so it sees the keys you press and the text around the cursor while you type. It uses that only on your iPhone, to type, swipe, autocorrect and suggest words. Your text isn’t logged or sent anywhere. What Duoboard keeps is described below, and all of it stays on your iPhone.

The keyboard doesn’t use the network

The Duoboard keyboard never connects to the internet. There are no accounts, analytics, ads or crash reporters in Duoboard.

Purchases

Duoboard Pro is bought through the App Store. The Duoboard app (not the keyboard) uses RevenueCat to check and restore your purchase. RevenueCat receives an anonymous ID made by the app, your App Store purchase history for Duoboard, and basic technical details such as your iOS and app versions and, as with any connection, your IP address. Apple handles payment, so neither Robot Hand nor RevenueCat sees your name, email or payment details. This data is used only to unlock Pro, never to track you or show ads.

Full Access

iOS lets a keyboard ask for Full Access. Duoboard works without it. If you turn it on, Duoboard uses it for these things only, all on your iPhone:

These are saved in storage shared only between the Duoboard app and its keyboard, and never leave your iPhone. You can clear learned words, clipboard history and snippets in the Duoboard app, and turn Full Access off at any time in the iPhone’s Settings.

Settings

Your Duoboard settings (such as autocorrect, swipe typing and haptics) are stored on your iPhone and shared only between the Duoboard app and its keyboard.

Children

Duoboard isn’t directed at children and collects nothing that identifies anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
